Active ingredients: Beclomethasone
Dosage Form: nasal spray, nasal spray dose
Pharmacological action Beconase AQ:
Beconase AQ Refers to a group of local corticosteroids, anti-inflammatory and antiallergic action. Inhibits the release of inflammatory mediators, increases production lipokortina (annexin) – an inhibitor of phospholipase A2, which reduces the formation of arachidonic acid and products of its transformation: Pg and leukotrienes, inhibits the synthesis of metabolic products of arachidonic acid – Cyclic endoperekisey, Pg, and the factor that activates platelets . Reduces the formation of chemotactic substances (this explains the effect on “late” reaction allergies), inhibits the development of “immediate” allergic reaction (due to the inhibition of production of metabolites of arachidonic acid and decreased the release of mast cell mediators of inflammation) and improves mucociliary transport. Under the influence of beclomethasone decreased the number of mast cells in the mucosa of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses, reduces swelling, mucus secretion, edge aggregation of neutrophils, the inflammatory exudate and the production of cytokines, inhibits migration of macrophages, reduced the intensity of the processes of infiltration and granulation, which plays an important role in the development of allergic rhinitis. Increases the number of active beta-adrenergic receptors. ISS has virtually no activity and resorptive effect after intranasal administration. At therapeutic doses, has an active local impact without development of side effects typical of systemic corticosteroids. The therapeutic effect develops gradually, usually 5-7 days a course of beclomethasone dipropionate, in some patients – in 2-3 weeks.
